Last night was fun, which accounts for our not leaving the apartment until 3:00 this afternoon. Today we took the subway to Dongmyo to a flea market that puts the LA swapmeets to shame. Afterwards we wandered around Sinchon and the university on the way back to the apartment.
Nighttime in this city gets the full stamp of approval. I haven’t seen so many people on the streets at 5 AM since Buenos Aires. Headed out to a party in Hongdae now. More soon.

Hello Brett, seems like now you are in Korea, I remember following your travel when you were in Buenos Aires, I was there too remember?
Anyway I am planning to go to Seoul next year, tell me where did you find the apartment you live in? How much does it cost and do you have Wifi.
Thanks a lot for the feedback.
Patrice
I’m actually just staying with a friend here for a few weeks.
He teaches English here and was placed in the apartment by his school. There’s no wifi at the apartment simply because my friend doesn’t have a wireless router.
I’m staying northwest of downtown in Yunhee-dong, which seems to be a very nice part of the city. I just got here Thursday night, so I’ll be able to tell you more soon…
Oh sounds good.
By the way I now live in Santiago de Chile. Last year same date my girlfriend and I decided we wanted to move to Santiago. We live here since December now. We love it.
Enjoy your trip.
